PAINTING CLASSES
Techniques for Painting Realism
I teach my students to paint what they see. We work with a limited pallete in acrylic or oils so you will learn to mix color. We concentrate on good composition, atmospheric perspective, and color theory. Each student works on their chosen subject matter and students of varying expertise are welcome. Classes are small so you will receive instruction individually.

Play is an important part of creativity! It’s time to turn off your left brain and let your creative, right brain out to play. Don’t worry, all those techinques and rules you have practiced over the years, will still be there when its over…but you might decide that exploration and growth are a vital part of being a great artist. We will explore lots of new materials and techniques. You will have a chance to play with all those “must have, gotta save, want to try someday” materials and found objects that are sitting in your closet, or in the corner of your studio…you get the message.
